About Tracie

I was born in Detroit, Michigan and I grew up in South Ozone Park, New York. I have a Master’s degree in Human Services and I have been in the field of helping people for over twenty years. I am a self-published author. I became a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor Associate in 2021 and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in 2022.

I am a mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend to many people. I enjoy my part time work as a mental health technician, at a behavioral hospital with children from the ages of 5 to 17. My co-workers and friends call me “The Child Whisperer,” due to the positive way children respond to me and I to them. 

I offer group therapy, individual therapy, by virtual/remote therapy only.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Center Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Psychoeducation with my clients.
